Chonburi – The mother of a child who went viral on Tiktok for begging for leftover soup to feed her family was allegedly assaulted by her husband after receiving over half a million baht donation.

Following a viral video on Tiktok of a little daughter who begged for leftover soup from a street vendor, the family of a child who lived in the Na Pa sub-district, Mueang district, Chonburi, received over six hundred thousand baht in donations from generous Thais across the country.

However, it was reported that Sanit Chanpinit, a 39-year-old mother of the child, was assaulted by her husband Pornprom Silma who drunkenly accused her of being unfaithful. Pornprom allegedly punched and hit her with a spatula and even reportedly attempted to rape his neighbor afterwards before getting arrested by Chonburi police.

I’m Pathetic ignorant sack of <deleted>. Any man who beats a woman should be put in jail for a long time to think about it. It happens everywhere and there is no excuse except defense, in case a phsyco woman is chasing you with a weapon. I’m sure he was after the money as well. Hopefully she will get far far away with her kids and money and starts a new life.

Sounds like he has managed to spend a fair bit of the donations, but not on soup!

In the meantime, the poor little girl in the middle of the history.

Sad.

I hope the mother uses the donations wisely and puts a lot of distance between her and the useless drunken husband.

She has time to find a good man who will take better care of her and the kids.

Another drunk Thai man who thinks it's OK to beat up women but needs six mates if he has to confront one man.

The Police said " He MAY receive a charge for assaulting his wife " Hey lady file the necessary report and get an injunction on him to stay away from you and your child !

Read the link.

'She said she was preparing to go to Chonburi Hospital to request a medical certificate in order to file an assault charge against her husband. She also denied reconciliation with her husband and desired to move to her hometown in the Sisaket province'.

The positive side of this story is the level of support that Sanit has received from the Thai community at, it seems, all levels.

What are the chances that he lost face and was embarrassed by the fact that he could not provide for his family, so used the accusation of cheating as an excuse to give her a bit of a beat-down to reassert his masculinity then went on to try to rape his neighbour to do the same?

Don't worry about me..... but carry on with that important compulsory link reading monitor responsibility.

Now we know why the child had to beg for food, dad is a deadbeat.

I guess there must be a lot of Thai women posting on Youtube and the like. My wife often shows me the ones of Thai wife's running down their farang husbands.

I don't worry about you, but you carry on not bothering to read important parts of articles before bashing those involved in the incidents for no reason.

Thanks, I shall. Don't bother me if I do. Anyhow, why are you so concerned about anyone bashing this drunkard, who bashes his wife? Hardly no reason in my mind. You are sympathetic to that type of action are you?
