Help Please: Where To Go?

Featured Replies

My wife and I are looking for a place to stay in Thailand for 5-6 nights in August. We will already will be in BKK. Our budget is $250-$350 per night.

Here is what we are looking for: intimate location, romantic location, beach front suite with private pool (we want to walk out onto the beach), pool where nobody can see from above (intimate/romantic setting), outside bath/jacuzzi if possible, great place for romantic walks on the beach, maybe some snorkeling, and close enough to town to see the culture of Thailand. We like Phuket as we have never been, but we also here great things about HH, Koh Samui, and Hoh Chang.

We want to take some tours of other islands as well, and maybe play a round of golf. We have looked at the Aleenta Phuket, but it seems out of the way and the villas are on top of each other/close together. We want a place to remember...a dream vacation!

Give us some advice. Some locations. I have studied this web forum and have found some great information, so thank you to all who have contributed!

Thank you!

Thanks Alf Witt. That's an amazing place. Definitely something to consider. A little more secluded that we desire, but might be exactly what we need for 2-3 nights.
