Ronaldo expected in Bangkok - organizers repairing the grass!

Organizers preparing for the arrival of English Premiership giants Manchester United and Liverpool said that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo would play in the Bangkok Century Cup 2022.

 

The event - featuring the two teams most supported in Thailand - will take place on July 12th at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. 

 

Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay are also expected to turn out for the Red Devils. 

 

For Liverpool Jurgen Klopp said that Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz were all set to play. 

 

They are key parts of the "Hong Daeng's" quadruple chasing attack force. 

 

This according to organizer Winit Lertrattanachai who told Siam Rath that Thais would be able to see a game like they would in England in their own backyard.

Meanwhile Winit said that 70% of ground improvements have been completed ahead of the big clash. 

 

This includes seeding the bare grass as well as upgrading the changing rooms and tunnel. 

 

An infographic showed that fans had to pay between 5,000 and 25,000 baht for a seat.
