The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has designated seven locations in the capital at which protesters can hold their rallies in an orderly manner, which will not cause public inconvenience or disturbance or infringe on other people’s rights.

The seven areas are the Lan Khon Mueang town square, in front of the first City Hall in Phra Nakhon district, the Bangkok (Thai-Japanese) youth centre in Din Daeng district, the open space beneath the Ratchavipha Bridge in Chatuchak district, the car park in front of Phra Khanong district office, the 72nd Anniversary Stadium in Min Buri district, the Chalermprakiat sports centre in Thung Khru district and the Monthon Pirom Park in Taling Chan district.

not showing up unless they support the current regime...

water cannons will be readily available as well as helicopters if need be ....

I wonder how the BMA intends to ensure the safety of any protesters given the deliberate agitating and violent tactics of the RTP in the past  together no doubt with army agitators dressed as civilians on the order of the PM or his master ?

Ratchaprasong, Prayuth's residence, Parliament, Sanam Luang, Democracy Monument, Victory Monument, BACC is where the demand for an end to dictatorship will stand.

How nice of them.

Pro-democracy protesters

Are there any independent pro-democracy protesters in Thailand?

Maybe these people should use their time to establish and promote a pro-democracy party and independent pro-democracy politicians.

It seem the term pro-democracy protesters is too often used for the red mob and others who support some corrupt politicians who only pretend to support democracy.

Why would the Reds not support democracy when their leaders win every fair election?

Is it fair to distribute lots of tax money to your voters and henchmen so that you can enrich yourself?
