The townhouse we rent is on an off peak tariff, but I'd like to switch bank to the standard tariff. We are mostly home in the day, so the the off peak works out more expensive than standard.

 

Is it as simple as contacting the electrical company and ask to switch, or is there more involved, such as changing of meters, etc?
