A 43-year-old Indian tourist suddenly fell unconscious while sitting at a restaurant on Koh Larn and tragically passed away this morning, July 18th, 2022.

Pol. Lt. Anan Mahakit-asavakul responded to a report of an Indian tourist who suddenly fell off his chair, lost his consciousness, and died tragically at a restaurant on Koh Larn in front of several other shocked diners.

The Indian man Mr. Tandon (last name withheld) was 43-years-old. He reportedly appeared normal while walking into the restaurant, according to CCTV footage, but suddenly fell off his chair after one minute and died despite rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation attempting CPR on him for almost an hour.

I wonder what an autopsy would find. RIP.

I wouldn't want to be revived after no oxygen to my brain for an hour.

If he fell off his chair after being in the restaurant for about 1 minute it is doubtful he would have ordered and the food arrived within that time!

Dropping dead while on holiday with your brother isn't the worst way to die.

Sadly, unknown to others, he may have been a diabetic and went into a coma, as I experienced pre-Covid after waiting 3 hours to enter Thailand from Cambodia at Aranyaphratet. Fortunately help was on hand from a fellow tourist who supplied me with a high sugar content drink. RIP Indian man.

A diabetic coma is a life-threatening diabetes complication that causes unconsciousness. If you have diabetes, dangerously high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) or dangerously low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can lead to a diabetic coma.

You would do fine in Australia!

Well thats a creative way to avoid paying the bin.

RIP fella.

Next to diabetes and obesity also blood cloths can cause severe cardiac problems ...and there are also the rare case of cardiac arrest : let the autopsy make the conclusions

Some dodgy posts here. I don't get it.

If you take two woman from the streets of Pattaya or Phuket back to your bungalow , that would be a distinct possibility

The brain dies if deprived of oxygen after three to four minutes.

There have certainly been a lot of recorded incidents of people being revived after longer.

The guy hadn't even ordered and that happens.

RIP poor man.
