Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai airport’s runway closed for three more days

Thailand’s Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai international airport has announced that its runway will remain closed until Wednesday night at 10pm, as workers try to move a Nok Air aircraft, which is partially blocking the runway after it partially skidded off it in heavy rain on Saturday night.

In the announcement, issued yesterday (Sunday), the airport said that passengers who have not yet claimed their baggage can contact the luggage section at the airport or the airline.
