It took just a day for police in Chonburi to crack a safe robbing case - with more than a little help from the thief.

Habitual criminal Surasak, 29, from Surin, had gone into the offices of a metalworks in Muang district on Thursday where he stole a medium sized safe and contents, reported Siam Rath.

It contained a large quantity of cash and checks.

He then went on TikTok to boast about his windfall - his name on the video platform is joker764.

Police had the last laugh on him, however.

He was heard to say that he'd woken up that morning, gone out now he had loads of money to pay off his debts. Yippee!

Someone from the metalworks recognised the money, said Chonburi provincial chief Pol Maj-Gen Attasit Kitjahan at a press conference yesterday.

The police went to Bang Sai sub-district and the hapless safe robber was soon in custody and the loot and safe were found inside his room.

He said he needed money - and had many offences of theft to his name.

He was charged with theft at night using a conveyance.

Not a Napoleon of crime ,what a silly boy.

I find alot of posts on social media to be rather silly. But, to brag about a crime? That is beyond silly. That is dumb.

The only villains Pattaya Plod are capable of catching.

It's just amazing how stupid some of these people are.

Same as those who organise street bike racing on FB or advertise 'young girls for hire' and are surprised when Plod sees it too and shows up. Kind of underlines the accuracy of the reported IQ level here.

This makes no sense at all. And it wasn't the company's anyway, it's mine. I lost some looking exactly like it. Or I can claim that I did, a skill I learned from Indians out late at night in Pattaya.

Yeah I didn't get that sentence either. In fact I was thinking it looked exactly like my money.

First mistake using social media look what I got and show the cash. The one thing I,am not sure about is how they recongnise the cash from the robbery.

Perhaps the guy flashed a few bundles of bills and the size/denominations corresponded to what was in the safe.

nope, since you ask, there's many more; relative pronouns, reflexive pronouns, object pronouns, personal pronouns / subject pronouns, reciprocal pronouns, possessive pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, interrogative pronouns...
