Marriage Visa Renewal

Recommended Posts

- I currentlky have a Multiple entry Marriage Visa (o) with an expiration date in DEC.

- I only have the one entry left on this visa.

- I was told I need to have 3 consecutive years of this visa before I qualify for Residency.

?- If it expires in Dec can I renew it before that date so as to keep it concurrant?

?- Will they allow me to renew it while the old one is in effect?

?- So, Should I zip up to Chicago and renew it before I head back again in OCT...or...

Should I wait until I return on the last exit and renew after I get back to the US in DEC?

Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, Thai Visa usually covers all my questions without me posting anything.... I must have missed it if it has been covered...

Thanks to all in advance....

the sticky at the top of the page:

As you'll see, you'll need three consecutive years of extended non-O visa for starters. Three years of visa runs on an non-immigrant O won't qualify for residency consideration.

You'll also need three years of Thai tax returns for the residency process.
