Russia has notified the United States about its plans to carry out annual exercises of its nuclear forces, the U.S. government said on Tuesday, a move that Washington said lowers the risk of miscalculation at a time of “reckless” Russian nuclear rhetoric.

The United States has said it expects Russia to carry out test launches of missiles during its annual “Grom” exercises of its strategic nuclear forces, noting in the past it has fired inter-continental ballistic missiles.

Under the New START Treaty, Russia is obliged to provide advance notification of such missile launches, U.S. officials say.

Didn't Russia assure the World that it was only doing 'exercises' when they were building up their forces on the Ukraine border?  About a year ago now it was.

Russia, China, North Korea, Iran—birds of a feather…

I'm sure that plenty of US missiles are currently warming up on the launch pad with pre-programmed addresses in Russia and a few other countries as well.

Given recent Russian shenanigans it wouldn't come as a surprise for a them to try a pre-emptive strike on Ukraine while they have the nukes around.

Likewise I am sure that US and Nato are watching satellite feeds pretty closely.

USA...

The nuclear drills are a simulation for a retaliation, a clear message to Ukraine’s planned use of a dirty bomb. Apparently, it has been successful with all missiles striking intended targets. I hope this serves a strong message to those planning the dirty bomb strike. The world is a safer place thanks to these drills.

Test launch all you want, just be careful where they land.

Nah, it was just the wee man and his small dick syndrome nothing to do with the fake dirty bomb hoax, these drills are an annual event.
