How can I get my Android contacts into Line.

 

Just downloaded the app, but can't find out how to do this.

Go to the profile settings and there to friends and switch on auto-add friends. Then click on the sync button underneath this. 

There is no 'Friends' in Profile.

Look here. You will find this at the settings.

Unfortunately, this does not work.

I cannot find any way to have Android Contacts come up in Line.

I auto-added friends, but they do not appear.

Try clicking on "Allow" here in the friends screen..

It's not in Settings.  From the Home screen, select the image of a person's head with a "+" next to it.

What is Home screen?

Do you mean in Android, in Line?

 

Do you mean in Contacts?
 

There is + next to any contact's name

At the bottom of the screen when I run Line I have four options.  Home, Chats, Voom and Calls.

 

Tapping Home gets me to a screen where at the top right I have four choices.  Second from the right is the outline of a head with  the "+" sign.

 

Tapping that gets me to the screen I pictured earlier with the Allow button.

 

You may have to wait until a contact agrees to be your friend before they appear as one.

In Telegram and Whatsapp all my contacts are added automatically.

Be patient ????. Other people may not allow that they get automatically added as friends. I switched this off too to avoid spam.
