Candidates hoping to run in next months election will register at the japanese youth center at Ding Daeng in Bangkok from today, traffic is expected to be heavy in that area. The registration center will be open until Friday.

 

A group of thirty-two Chinese nationals who have been arrested for overstaying their visas are scheduled to appear in court today. So far their application for refugee status  has not been granted. If found guilty, they may face a daily fine of between 500 and 20,000 baht. United Nations personnel will request their temporary release at the Pattaya Court.

 

The body of a female Chinese  music student was discovered after being held captive and subsequently murdered.

 

Authorities believe that three Chinese males abducted the woman and then took her life when they failed to obtain a ransom payment of 2.5 million baht from her father in China. The victim's body was discovered in a sack and bore numerous stab wounds.

 

And  A major Fire broke out last night at a temple Temple  east of Bangkok, the wooden building burned rapidly and threatened other nearby properties. The fire department took over an hour to extinguish the blaze, the cause of the fire is unknown.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's visit to China has been applauded by business organizations in Malaysia. Nineteen agreements were signed with the aim of promoting investments in green technology, digital economy, and modern agriculture.

 

The president of the SME Association of Malaysia said they would be beneficial to local industries, particularly small and medium-sized businesses.
