Srettha Thavisin is a prominent Thai businessman and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sansiri Public Company Limited, a leading real estate developer in Thailand. He resigned from his position in Sansiri to seek the prime minister’s chair as one of the PM candidates for the Pheu Thai Party.

 

Srettha received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Sasin.

 

Srettha began his career in the real estate industry in 1984 when he joined the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Project under the Government. In 1988, he co-founded Sansiri.
