Places in Phnom Penh?

Featured Replies

Likely I will spend a couple of days and nights in Phnom Penh.

Maybe someone here has some recommendation for the following:

- Great espresso, please no coffee chains

- Good restaurants

- Pool halls or bars with good quality pool tables

- Bars with pretty girls, preferable on stage

Maybe you know individual places or streets.

Or websites with up-to-date information.

Thanks

Bars with pretty girls,

130 and 136 street are full of bars with pretty girls.

Near the top end of Riverside Park.

Load 'Pass' app on your phone before you go, it's very cheap and they will collect from the airport.

I used Pass App already a couple of years ago. It's great. I wish they would have something like that in Bangkok.

Can you recommend the best places in those streets? I don't care if the drinks cost a little more. The idea is to have some nice entertainment and eye-candy.

They changed every time I went, but the bars you can't look in without entering were always the most fun.

I always stayed at the Phuminh Hotel (was a different name when I went), nice rooftop swimming pool and cocktail bar. Right near the riverside park and entertainment streets.

The Ohana also looks good (2 pools?) but I haven't stayed there.

Thanks. I just had a look at the hotels on Google Maps. They look ok and are not expensive.

Good coffee - La croisette

Pool - there's a pool hall opposite Pontoon nightclub. All the bars have really bad quality tables

Good restaurants - a few nice Italian places

Girls - Street 136, Street 130. Plenty of bars around here. Pontoon is OK after midnight.
