The Move Forward party has promised to investigate a woman’s allegation that she was assaulted by one of the party’s MPs.

The victim, a 26-year-old, filed a complaint with Bo Win police in Si Racha district of Chon Buri province on June 27th and the police there have made an appointment with the victim and the alleged attacker at the police station on July 2nd.

An image of the victim with bruises on her body was posted on Twitter and widely shared.

Move Forward party said that the allegation of assault is serious and the party has contacted the victim for more information. It also promised to address the case with the party’s disciplinary committee.

If it's a case of true assault then let the investigation find the facts.

Exactly. I don't see why MF should be spared due process any more than Prayuth (some hope). The country's had enough of that.
