After five years of one-year non-O stays, I am contemplating applying for a Permanent Residence Permit in the case of retirement. The Washington DC Thai Embassy Consular office has advised me on the criteria (which I seem to meet), but couldn't (or wouldn't) advise on the likelyhood of getting approval.

Anyone with experience?
