Six Thai workers released from captivity in Gaza are due to arrive back in Thailand at lunchtime today, meanwhile negotiations continue to free the remaining 9 Thai hostages. The Thai government yesterday expressed concern at the resumption of fighting and added its voice to those that urged all parties to avoid further hostilities and return to negotiations.


The Transport Ministry says it will make its entire fleet of public transport vehicles 100% electric by 2030. All old vehicles will be replaced with EVs as soon as existing rental contracts expire. The idea is to reduce air pollution, meanwhile more than 72 new plans will be introduced to improve all forms of public transport between now and 2027.


Police  on Kho Samui found the body of a young tourist who had fallen from the upper level of a waterfall. The 20 year old was named as Ryan Meghan, three french women who were with him said he had gone for a swim but failed to return.
