Former Democrat deputy leader Prinn Panitchpakdi was acquitted of sexually assault charges today by the Criminal Court.

Prinn was charged with abducting an underage girl for sexual purposes in a case from 2018. The court ruled that the statute of limitations had expired three months after the alleged incident took place and ordered the acquittal of the defendant.

Prinn has been sentenced to a total of four years and eight months on two other sexual abuse cases this year. In the first case, he was sentenced to two years and eight months by the Criminal Court in August for sexually harassing an 18-year-old student back in 2021.

But has since been charged on similar offences.

If statue of limitations is 3 months & was ordered to be acquitted (2018) & 2021 alleged offence occurred - not same statue of limitations or has the law changed? Crap reporting!
