Accommodation/flights In Krabi & Cambodia

Hi All

My Wife and i are visiting her folks in BKK early next year and have allowed a couple of weeks for ourselves to have a holiday. Plan to have a week in Cambodia and a week in Krabi. We will be typical tourists, want to be by the beach in Krabi and see Ankor Watt and the killing fields in Cambodia.

Can anyone reccommend reasonable accommodation, we are on a tight budget so hope not to have to pay more than a 1000Bht a night. Ideally would like to fly from BKK to cambodia and Krabi, who are the cheapest. I would consider the train to Krabi, anyone done this?

I'm not being lazy have researched where i can but thought it worth asking you guys, straight from the horses mouth so to speak.
