walker Posted July 15, 2004 Share Posted July 15, 2004 US to Thailand phone cards abound; I've found one for 7.9 cents/minute (US). Thailand to US phone cards are a different story; the cheapest I can find is 29.9 cents/minute. It is my understanding that the distance from Thailand to the US is approximately the same as the distance from the US to Thailand (trust me on this...I'm an engineer). So what's the deal? Have any of you found something cheaper that I've missed? Please don't tell me to use my computer for free phone service, as 512 is required and I could fly back to the US for a couple months cost.....
