Is anyone familiar with a SAT tutoring service called Elite located in Asoke Towers on Asoke road? I am thinking of having my son take the 4 week SAT prep course and I'm trying to get some info, positive or negative on Elite. Thanks for any replies.

Can't help with finding the service but the conventional wisdom is that the cramming aspect of such courses are considered to be no help at all and that the only thing they can do to help is to teach general test taking skills and to familiarize the student with the structure and type of questions asked. Old tests and practice tests are available either for free or for a fee much less than it costs to take the courses and will perform the function of familiarizing the student with the test. I'm not sure if general test taking skills are also included when you get the old tests and practice test but I think they are...if not this information is readily available by googling for SAT related stuff I'm sure.
