Latvian Man Arrested at Phuket Airport for Computer Data Crimes Linked to Pattaya

A 47-year-old Latvian man, wanted for computer data-related offences in Pattaya, was apprehended by authorities at Phuket International Airport on Friday, October The arrest was executed at the international arrivals terminal following an outstanding warrant issued by the Pattaya Criminal Court.

 

According to officials from Phuket Immigration, the suspect faces serious allegations, including theft and unauthorised access to secure computer data. He is also accused of engaging in activities that resulted in damage, impairment, deletion, alteration, or unauthorized additions to another individual’s computer data.

 

 


After his arrest, the Latvian man was transported back to Pattaya City Police Station, where he will face further legal proceedings.

 

Details surrounding the suspect and the specific circumstances of the case have not been disclosed by Phuket Immigration. As of this report, the arrested individual has not made any public statements regarding the charges against him.
