Cannabis Bust at Koh Samui Airport: Brits and Malaysian Nabbed
Unfortunately, the people caught are just dumb mules, so desperate for small money or to get out of debt that they ignore the risks. They were probably assured that customs "Has been taken care of: Don't worry, we have a person inside. You won't be stopped." Duh. Interesting that a Brit was caught entering the UK from Thailand a few days ago with over 35kg of weed. I wonder how he got through Thai scanning with that much in a huge bag. -

Democrats Face Backlash for Supporting Arrested Palestinian Activist Mahmoud Khalil
Nothing you have written is a valid argument that can be used to block the US government action. The US has the right to revoke Green Cards without cause. There is no legal right to a Green Card. Your statement about a backlog is nonsensical and has no relevance here. Yes, Khalil will mount a defence on the basis that he should have a hearing to determine whether or not he violated immigration laws, in particular making a fraudulent statement about his activities when he applied for the status. The fact is that holding immigrants until a case is adjudicated is allowed and a common practice. There was no need for a warrant for his arrest as he was detained on a violation of his immigration status. US immigration law is draconian and can be argued to be abusive. However, it is what it is. -

Social Security Administration to cut phone service for direct-deposit transactions
Me too. The only people worried about this are potential fraudsters and those who need gov't to wipe their butts. Pro Tip: When you are old and receiving Social Security and living outside the USA, a limited power of attorney grant in the USA can be very helpful in an unlikely emergency. -

How does Musk Keep Making Big Mistakes and getting away with it?
Believe what you want. You didn't understand a word I said. You equate Tesla to DJT stock? LOL. That tells me everything I need to know. Let's revisit the Tesla stock valuation in a few years. It probably won't take that long, but that's a good estimate. I should be buying now, although I already have a bunch. I guess I can't resist the temptation to time the market, and I think stocks may move lower before they move higher because of an impending debt market crisis, although usually, trying to time the market is a fools game.
