Thai space device to join China’s Chang’e 7 lunar mission

A collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the China National Space Administration (CNSA) has been greenlit by the Cabinet, as announced by Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi.

Construction Worker Injured in Pile Driver Incident at Phrae Railway Project

A construction worker sustained serious injuries after his leg was crushed by a pile driver at a railway construction site in Phrae province. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 on 5 February, at the Den Chai–Chiang Khong railway project in Kanchana subdistrict, Mueang Phrae district.

Child Survives After Being Run Over by Car in Phetchabun

A two-year-old boy had a miraculous escape after he tripped and fell while playing, only to be run over by a car. The incident on 4 February, which occurred in Sri Thep District, Phetchabun Province, was captured on CCTV and later shared on social media.

A 25-year-old Myanmar construction worker was injured on the morning of 5 February, after falling from a scaffold while working on a hotel renovation in Pattaya. The incident occurred at around 11:00 at a hotel located in Arunothai Soi 7, Pattaya, Chonburi.

Nonthaburi: 42-Year-Old Security Guard Dies After Motorcycle Crash

A crash occurred on the morning of 5 August, when a 42-year-old security guard lost control of his motorcycle, hit the concrete barries and was fatally injured after being dragged along the road surface by his motorcycle, for more than 100 metres.

Fire at Hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 11, No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out at a hotel, located at 171 Sukhumvit Soi 11 in the Watthana District, Bangkok, on the afternoon of 5 February. The incident occurred at approximately 13:05  with fire crews from Phayathai Fire Station promptly responding to the scene.

Elderly Man, 94, Falls from Sugar Palm Tree in Chonburi

A 94-year-old man suffered serious injuries after falling from a 15-metre-tall sugar palm tree while attempting to collect fruit. Rescue workers were called to the scene after locals spotted him lying motionless beneath the tree.

American man and Thai wife lose 15.2 million baht in Hua Hin property fraud

An American man and his Thai wife are pursuing justice after being duped by a real estate firm into buying two plots of land and a house in Hua Hin, located in the southern province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, amounting to 15.2 million baht. Despite their investment, they have been unable to gain ownership of the property.
