I had a motorbike accident 6 and a half weeks ago where I landed on my shoulder. Went to a private hospital and there was only a general doctor available, who was completely useless. He just asked me to move my arm in certain positions then asked me if I wanted a shoulder xray, which I said yes. Nothing was broken, is what he said. I asked if it could be a rotator cuff tear, and he said only a MRI can confirm if this is the case. Fast forward 6 and a half weeks later, I am still getting some elbow pain when I lean on it, like using it to get out of bed, making me wonder if I did have a hairline fracture in my elbow. I went to the same hospital asking if I can just get an xray only and they said can't, must see a doctor first and then the doctor orders an xray. They said all hospitals are the same. Is this true? Are there anywhere else where you can get an xray in Pattaya without seeing a doctor? This is just a money grab by the hospital to see the doctor again, for no real reason, and when the doctor I saw was pretty useless in the 1st case. I just want an xray and the radiologist's report only.
