Sir Keir Starmer has fiercely criticised Israel's decision to overtake Gaza City, labelling it "wrong" and predicting that it will "bring more bloodshed." Israel's security cabinet, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, approved these plans despite intense warnings.

The proposed focus on Gaza City has sparked fears for hostages held by Hamas, with military leaders urging caution.

Starmer is pushing for a ceasefire, an increase in humanitarian aid, and the safe release of hostages. He stated, "This action will do nothing to bring an end to this conflict." He emphasised the dire humanitarian situation and the need for a diplomatic solution, excluding Hamas from Gaza's future.

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey joined the criticism, deeming Netanyahu's actions "utterly abhorrent" and warning of further devastation to Gazans' lives. He urged the UK government to halt arms sales to Israel and impose sanctions on Netanyahu and his cabinet.

Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary David Lammy is set to meet US Vice President JD Vance in the UK, with discussions expected on US-UK relations and the ongoing tension in Gaza. The UK's recent stance on recognising a Palestinian state if certain conditions aren't met by Israel has put it at odds with both Israel and the US, as reported by the BBC.

The United Nations has raised concerns about the potential catastrophic impacts on both Palestinians and hostages. Netanyahu's office detailed plans to seize control of Gaza City while promising humanitarian aid outside conflict zones, aiming to disarm Hamas and reshape Gaza's governance.

As the tension rises, the implications remain uncertain, and international opposition continues to grow. The future of Gaza hangs in the balance amidst a complex web of diplomatic and military manoeuvres.

Give it up Starmer.  There is not enough muslims (yet) in the UK to keep Labour in power after the most shambolic year of government the UK has ever witnessed so continued appeasement to terrorists is not going to save your bacon.  There isn't enough money to increase benefits or employ more civil servants so (horror of horrors) you will need to start appeasing British working people who actually pay the taxes you like to fritter away on overseas virtue signalling.

Maybe, just maybe, if you focused on the actual British people living in Britain, listening to their concerns about the (lack of) border and taking proper meaningful action to address the fact the UK is turning into the rape capital of the world then you might stop tanking in the polls and people might just hate you just a little bit less.

But he’ll continue to provide military and air transport/surveillance support.

He's just another stooge that thinks forming committees and drafting opinions about things they know nothing about gives them the right to condemn what they didn't have the b@lls to commit too. I don't blame Israel for anything they do to kill terrorists and regain hostages (bodies of).  :stoner:

Focus on Britain you traitorous anti semite.

Duplicitous gaslighter catch you next Tuesday Farmer Harmer.

Starmer should deploy the powerful British military to address the situation effectively.
