October 7, 2025Oct 7 Cambodia’s acting Head of State, Hun Sen, has condemned a Thai shooting game targeting his image, calling it “inhumane” and “immoral” in a strongly worded statement released Monday. The video, which shows a Thai national firing at a photo of Hun Sen to win prizes, has sparked outrage online and heightened tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border. Hun Sen, who also serves as Senate President, urged Cambodians to respond with restraint and dignity. “If we believe their actions are wrong, then we should not compete in wrongdoing,” he said, rejecting calls from some citizens to retaliate with similar content featuring Thai leaders. “There is no value in replicating such inhumane behaviour, which is worse than what animals would do.” He warned that the video—whether created by a person or artificial intelligence—was designed to provoke and destabilise, particularly amid what he described as a “fragile ceasefire” in border regions. “I sincerely appeal to all our compatriots not to use the portrait of the Thai King or images of any Thai leader in any inappropriate or disrespectful manner,” he added. Hun Sen acknowledged Cambodia’s smaller size and weaker economy compared to Thailand, but insisted the Kingdom must remain morally strong. “We must not be weak in morality. We must remain a dignified nation with high moral values,” he said. Rather than retaliate, Hun Sen encouraged peaceful protest through economic choices. He called on Cambodians to consider avoiding Thai products and currency, suggesting that redirecting spending could strengthen Cambodia’s domestic economy. “Cambodia spends no less than five billion US dollars annually on Thai goods. Supporting local products would help build our economy,” he noted. He also advised border communities to exchange Thai baht for riel or US dollars to protect against currency risks and reinforce national financial sovereignty. The statement comes amid rising sensitivities between the two nations, with Hun Sen seeking to defuse tensions while asserting Cambodia’s moral and economic independence. -2025-10-07 ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français ThaiVisa, it's also in French
October 8, 2025Oct 8 Popular Post One fascinating aspect of humanity is that the most immoral people, the ones who have committed the most crimes, in this particular case a man who is guilty of multiple massacres as an officer of Pol Pot, and repeated assassinations of his political opponents, in addition to stealing billions of dollars worth of land from common people, have the audacity to lecture others about morality. It would be amusing if it wasn't so sad.

Perhaps he should have thought of that before attacking Thailand.

This being the result of Thai military aggression on Cambodia in the first instance! Perhaps Cambodians can set up amusement stalls with pictures of Anutin being disfigured with air pellets and/or darts!
