The Richest Country in the World!

Featured Replies

Blame who like, promise what you will, call it what you want, but the fact is, and the reality is that, life in 2025 for the average American has become a struggling state of affairs.

People in many poor countries have at least the basic needs covered for sustenance, things like food, healthcare and medicine, a thing that many Americans can barely even afford.

---

"Nearly half of Americans said they find groceries, utility bills, health care, housing and transportation difficult to afford, according to The POLITICO Poll conducted last month by Public First. The results paint a grim portrait of spending constraints: More than a quarter, 27 percent, said they have skipped a medical check-up because of costs within the last two years, and 23 percent said they have skipped a prescription dose for the same reason."

Don't worry mate, in a minute some MAGA's, who haven't been in the US for maybe a decade because they can't afford it, will be here to say that everything is great under king Trump.

Biden worst inflation in 40 years lol

i cannot understand why so many people are against Universal

Health care for all , because they see it as a socialist thing , but

everyone helping others  should be a good thing , cut back on

weapons of mass destruction , and introduce a free health care

for all ,

You cant have Universal health care together with open borders. I believe the left made their preference known on this issue.

No wonder. The "big vaccum cleaner" is at work. The wealth of the nation is sucked up toward the 10% of the super rich. Re distribution from down to up.

The US is not the richest country in the world by a long shot it may have the highest GDP it may have that greatest number of billionaires and sent a millionaires but the quality of life for the average American is a major struggle today and 70% of the population is having a very hard time making ends meet. If you don't own a home that you've purchased sometime ago free and clear, you're in deep doo doo right now as an American. Prices keep spiraling despite promises from the chief Goon, and the quality of life continues to diminish.

Very easy to make inflation, destroy an economy as Biden and his feckless low IQ america haters did but very difficult to fix these disasters biden created and the sustained pressure on increasing prices on many things due to the millions of illegal criminal aliens straining the welfare systems, housing costs, cost of goods, insurance, LOW wages, AND just about everything else. Biden created an abysmal economy with highest inflation in decades fraught with devastating effects from overspending and MASSIVE influx of illegals straining all social and economic systems. You democrat stooges are getting exactly what you voted for. Cry harder fools.

This country has "maxed out" their credit cards. But it was a fun ride for decades.

Most people in the USA are definitely FOR single-payer, universal healthcare, same as they have in Taiwan.

This is what the vast majority of US citizens want, and need.

But, what entities do not want what the majority of Americans want?

a. Insurance companies.

b. Are insurance companies in America politically powerful?

c. Hospitals do not want universal health coverage. This would mean that hospital fees must become reasonable.

d. Drug companies do not want universal healthcare.  This would destroy their obscene profiteering.

e. The healthcare industry does not want to be controlled. They want to stick it to the poor, and the middle class, and everybody, in fact.

f.  The healthcare system in Taiwan is excellent, and one of the best in the world.  It is efficient, and has been computer managed for decades.

So, there are very few people in the USA who do not want universal healthcare.

But, not EVERYBODY from the America is eligible to move to Taiwan, unfortunately.

Gamma

ACA and his market bailout secured a nice multi millionaire's retirement.

Why only quote Taiwan? Most European countries have some sort of "universal healthcare". Has this escaped you?

Actually, I am well aware of this obvious fact.

However, the fact is that the Taiwan system is far better, in almost every way.

You might familiarize yourself with it, unless you have already lived with it, as I have, for many years.

I must admit, that back in the early 1970s, the UK system was truly what we are all still just dreaming of.

To be back in the UK in the 60s and early 70s, would be very nice.

Healthcare would not be a problem

The decline of the British Empire. But that's another story.

Once more I allow myself to quote a very successful American businessman. His name is Warren BUffet.

His quote: "There is a war going on. The rich aginst the poor. We (the rich) are winning" .

What does it take and how much time does it take before the American voter understands what is going on in "their" own country?

What does it take to reverse this trend? If uncorrected, regardless of race or creed, "little people" will end up as "wage slaves" under the whip of international mega companies ruling the world. Welcome to Uncle Toms Cabin.
