Maneerat.

Featured Replies

I am trying to call Maneerat to extend my retirement exts, they don't answer the phone and have not replied to my emails. Anyone know if there is a problem there?

check Facebook, then contact them via Line or messenger. I couldn't post their Line QR code, error 200 again

OP, agents in general prefer contact in person or via social media platforms. eg Line etc.

Suggest you use that option.

There’s a major problem there. Because you can no longer use Bangkok Bank to renew your visa the other bank was overwhelmed. My friend yesterday said he was struggling to get his visa with the new bank for three days and it wasn’t resolved yet. It’s kind of chaotic.

200 baht for what?

I think he's referring to the 90 day report. Previously 100 baht.

And what's a 90 day extension?

Would still be cheap.

Mate told me he pays 800 Baht (other agent).

Kind of crazy to me but each to his own.

Aren't we being a little picky now correcting 90 day "extension" for report? 😉 But thanks to you and all who keep the information flowing 😀

Your post made no sense, sober up first next time

There was some snag to do 90 day reporting myself. I don't remember which. But it had to do with going through the agency for the visa. Some documents I had to submit.

I remember planning to do it on line but after talking to the agency, I now let them do it.

An extension is an extension of stay. Confusing that with 90 day report is not picky at all. They are COMPLTELY different things. The first time I saw your post I had no idea what you were talking about because extensions cost 1900 baht.

I've used Cambodian Inter in So Buakhow for the past 10 years. When I made my last extension I was told that I needed a Krungsri Bank account instead of the normal Bangkok Bank, I have both so no problem. All in all very satified with not one problem.

No.

Such comments highlight ignorance and I never understand why people, who take the effort to make correct others, are criticised. Correct terminology around the the subject of visas is important to avoid mistakes and incorrect advice.

There was a time (pre-Covid) when Maneerat did 90 day reports free if you did your annual retirement extension through them.

They are ok but charge more than Maneerat for nothing

I did my 90 day report with Maneerat in January & the price had increased to 200 THB then (It used to be 100THB if you did your extension with them).

Couldn't do it online because it was my 1st 90 day report after getting back from a trip to the UK and as I've been overseas again since doing that report, I won't be able to do the next report online either - Stupid rule...

If your 90 day is due around about the same time as your extension (or if you ask them to do a 90 day for you at the same time) then I believe they still do it for free.

But there was some document needed. Maneerat issued my visa and there are some documents needed, except passport, for the on-line report, I believe. A little hard to find, especially if I would be in a guesthouse in another Thai city. So I give my passport to Maneerat.

Not picky at all, he is being accurate and avoiding confusion.

No documents needed for online reporting, but you need to know Arrival date Thailand, Stay visa expire, both from your passport

No documents are required for online reporting, BUT if your TM30 notification on record doesn't match your address used for the 90-day report, it will likely be rejected. If you stay in a guesthouse in another Thai city, they might well submit a TM30 notification there for you. Depending on the circumstances, it could be argued that you should report in that city/province instead.

Have been using Maneerat for 2 years, even though I changed to another agent nearby, I can only say good words about them. And yes, they charge now 200 baht for 90 days report. But other agency still charge 100 and they can extend with Bangkok Bank. With other banks even cheaper than Maneerat

And previously free

Can you give the name of this other agent, please?

I have been happy with the service from Maneerat for several years but would prefer to renew the extension of stay without having to change banks.

Thanks.
