31 deg is not "cold" water, there ain't no "cold" water in Thailand! do you run your shower through a cooler or add ice ? It is physically impossible to reduce ones "core temperature" by a couple of minutes of a cold shower , and it is clearly ridiculous to suggest that is. In fact a reduction of just 2 degrees in ones core temperature will result in violent shivering increased heart rate a decrease in motor skills and confusion! So you are not lowering your core temp, no matter what you believe Thanks for the pointer but I won't be wasting any money on a "shower thermometer " I don't need one to tell me when it's warm enough to be comfortable , that would be ridiculous, and once the power is turned off there is no control over the ambient temperature of the water so its a complete waste of time and money But if it works for you, then crack on ,
