Muang Pan, Chae Son (Lampang province) - December or Janu.?

Hello, on a longer road trip i want to spend 1 week in the area Ban Chae Son, Muang Pan, 5 – 15 kilometers from Chae Son Nationalpark (อุทยานแห่งชาติแจ้ซ้อน, around 70 kms north of Lampang). I like

• bicycling (private imported bike) early at 6.30 a.m. on field roads

• hot springs

• easy hikes

I dislike crowds and chilly mornings.

2 different time slots would be possible for that area. I understand both time slots are not ideal. I wonder if one of these time slots for the Chae Son area is clearly preferable:

• December 15 – December 22

• January 4 (Monday) – January 11

Three AIs gave perferctly contradictory advice. Would you think one time slot is clearly better than the other or isn't it much of a difference?

PS. I'm also in the market for quiet, rural accommodation with some privacy etc. I'll have a car.
