Netanyahu Says Iran War ‘Not Over’ As Trump Eyes Boots On Ground

Benjamin Netanyahu has declared the conflict with Iran is “not over,” warning that Tehran still possesses enriched uranium that “has to be taken out” — and revealing that Donald Trump wants to “go in there” and remove it.

Speaking in a preview clip from a 60 Minutes interview, Netanyahu signalled that Israel and the United States are still considering direct action against Iran’s remaining nuclear infrastructure despite the fragile ceasefire and ongoing negotiations.

‘You Go In And You Take It Out’

Netanyahu insisted that Iran’s nuclear threat remains active because stockpiles of enriched uranium are still believed to exist inside the country, particularly at deeply buried facilities such as Isfahan.

Asked how the uranium should be dealt with, he replied bluntly:

“You go in, and you take it out.”

The Israeli leader said there are still enrichment sites that must be dismantled, ballistic missile programs still operating, and Iranian proxy networks still functioning across the region.

“There’s work to be done,” he warned.

Trump ‘Wants To Go In There’

Netanyahu also revealed details of private discussions with Trump, claiming the US president directly told him he wanted American forces to physically seize the uranium.

“What President Trump has said to me: ‘I wanna go in there,’” Netanyahu said.

He added that physically removing the material “can be done,” suggesting the main obstacle is political and diplomatic rather than military.

The remarks strongly hint at possible future ground operations involving US special forces or Marines if negotiations collapse.

However, Netanyahu stopped short of openly confirming military plans or timetables.

“Well, you’re gonna ask me these questions, I’m gonna dodge them,” he said when pressed on whether force would be used if Iran refuses a deal.

Mojtaba Khamenei ‘Alive But Hiding’

Netanyahu also weighed in on speculation surrounding Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not appeared publicly since taking over after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei.

“I think he is alive,” Netanyahu said.

But he suggested the younger Khamenei is isolated, weakened and struggling to consolidate power inside Iran’s fractured regime.

“He’s holed up in some bunker or in some secret place,” Netanyahu added, saying Mojtaba’s authority appears weaker than his father’s once was.

Iran Rejects Trump Proposal

The interview aired as tensions sharply escalated again over stalled negotiations.

Iran reportedly delivered its latest response to a US peace proposal through Pakistani mediators — only for Trump to blast the offer online as:

“TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!”

According to Iranian state media, Tehran rejected Washington’s demands as surrender terms and instead demanded:

  • War reparations from the United States

  • Full Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz

  • An end to sanctions

  • Release of frozen Iranian assets

The US proposal reportedly aimed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, end the war and sharply roll back Iran’s nuclear program.

Strait Of Hormuz Crisis Deepens

Netanyahu admitted neither Israel nor the United States fully predicted how effectively Iran could weaponise control over the Strait of Hormuz before the conflict erupted.

The closure of the critical oil chokepoint has rattled world markets, disrupted global shipping and driven energy prices sharply higher.

“I don’t claim perfect foresight,” Netanyahu admitted.

Trump, however, struck a more aggressive tone in a separate interview Sunday, claiming Iran had been “militarily defeated” and insisting the uranium could be removed “whenever we want.”

Ceasefire Looks Increasingly Fragile

Although Washington still publicly insists the ceasefire technically holds, Netanyahu’s comments suggest Israeli leaders believe another phase of conflict remains highly possible.

With Iran refusing major concessions, its leadership still fractured, and both sides continuing military manoeuvres around the Gulf, fears are growing that the region may only be in a temporary pause before a wider confrontation resumes.

So, Netanyahu isn't even TRYING to hide how he is orchestrating this war, using the US as a puppet master would.

Sickening!

Netanyahu gifts President Trump a golden pager in Washing...

The Israelis last year used booby-trapped pagers to target Hezbollah, though civilians were also among the victims.

Reminds me of the Golden Pager he handed to Trump. Surely sending a message.

“You go in and take it out

With emphasis on the ‘You’ being the sons and daughters of Americans.

“Netanyahu also revealed details of private discussions with Trump, claiming the US president directly told him hewanted American forces to physically seize the uranium.

“What President Trump has said to me: ‘I wanna go in there,’” Netanyahu said.”

Perhaps private discussions and statements by Trump that have not yet occurred.

Regardless, Netanyahu telling us all who’s making the decisions in this illegal Israeli/US war of aggression.

There were reports circulating that it was a detected and compromised Israeli reconnaissance mission which led to the successful Iranian ambush on the US attempt to seize an airstrip inside Iran, near the presumed storage site for the enriched uranium stocks.

Is Nethanayu having another go?

Let's not forget that his hopes of re-election this autumn, (and with it his chance of avoiding a range of pending corruption charges currently sitting waiting patiently in the Israeli courts) depend on keeping this war hot!

Lurking uranium fears again ,the mad mullahs will use it for sure

To do this in a war zone is madness the 60% uranium is stored as a gas uranium hexafluoride in ŠKODA VPVR/M transport and storage cask each weighs 10,700 kilograms empty full more that 12,300 kilograms so to remove these, a crane and flat bed truck would be required how many containers there are is not know, and if any are leaking there is a containment problem, total load for 18 of these packages would be 190 to 220 metric tons,

There are several hypotheses of Decoy with fake containers,

this is to be carried out under war conditions Madness heading for disaster and a lot of people killed

The US has given Israel $300 billion a lot of it spent on their military perhaps someone could remind me just how many of their soldiers they sent to help the US in Afganistan?

Im sure Netanyahu would be more than happy to cheer the US troops on from the sidelines if they invaded Iran.

Wait. Isn't the IDF the best army in the world? Why doesn't Bibi need their boots on the ground?

At the moment there is not an invasion force in the area, Yes there are troops in the area but there are no tanks or the heavy gear to carry out an invasion, yes you could use the troops as raiding party's ect but as a invasion force i dough it but it would be utter madness to put boots on the ground but again we have 2 madmen controlling this
