In a heartfelt statement, the division conveyed deep condolences and support to Valencia’s family and friends. The attack, which cost the life of Valencia and her unborn child, has evoked calls for solidarity and prayers. Authorities are being urged to act quickly to apprehend those responsible for the attack.

Valencia was on a motorcycle with her husband near Bangued, Abra when unidentified gunmen targeted her. Despite being rushed to a hospital in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, she was pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds, leaving a profound impact on her community and colleagues.

Gat Andres Bonifacio Elementary School commemorated Valencia’s dedication and influence. Described as a mentor and friend, her passion for teaching and student care marked her as a significant figure at the school. The institution vows to honor her legacy and the values she embodied.

Looking forward, heightened attention is expected on the ongoing investigation. The community remains unified in demanding accountability and justice. Officials called for collective vigilance to ensure safety and prevent such tragedies in the future.
