Remember that FBI agent that falsly claimed the Bidens got paid by Burisma? Well, it turns out he was working for the Russians. What a surprise, right?thumbsup

'Ex-FBI Informant Charged With Lying About Bidens Had Russian Intelligence Contacts'

https://www.voanews.com/a/ex-fbi-informant-charged-with-lying-about-bidens-had-russian-intelligence-contacts-prosecutors-say/7496076.html

"A former FBI informant charged with making up a multimillion-dollar bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden, his son Hunter and a Ukrainian energy company had contacts with officials affiliated with Russian intelligence, prosecutors said in a court paper Tuesday.

Prosecutors revealed the alleged contact as they urged a judge to keep Alexander Smirnov behind bars while he awaits trial. He's charged with falsely reporting to the FBI in June 2020 that executives associated with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid Hunter and Joe Biden $5 million each in 2015 or 2016. The claim has been central to the Republican impeachment inquiry in Congress."

FBI informant who lied about Biden 'bribes' pleads guilty

Alexander Smirnov will likely spend four to six years in prison for making up a story which sparked impeachment hearings.

"A former informant has pleaded guilty to lying to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about a fake bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Prosecutors said Smirnov was motivated by "bias" against President Biden and that he spun his "routine and unextraordinary business contacts" with Burisma into tales about bribery that were "fabrications"."

Keep Smirnov behind bars! 😀

I wonder how much the GOP have spent on these self-owning witch hunts over the years. Who doesn't remember the pathetic President Clinton hearings, the endless Hillary Clinton Benghazi and e-mail sever b/s, the Biden hearings, and NONE of them leading NOWHERE.

This last one was probably the most ridiculous GOP investigation. The first key witness was a China and Iran agent, and the last one (Smirnov) a Russia agent! 😂
