Kill A Dog

Featured Replies

Out of control Rottweiller, allowed to run free, irresponsible 'master'. Young kids at risk. Has to be removed. What's the best method - antifreeze, rat-poison in sausages, any others?

The least responsible thing to do is to attempt to kill it yourself.

Call the Police.

Cheers

irresponsible 'master'.

how are you going to get him to eat those sausages? :o

I understand many motorcycle taxi drivers will take out a Rottweiler for 1,500 baht.

Call the Police. Give them 500 Baht, maybe they can help.

Easy...I had this problem with a feral dog that lived at a squatter settlement near the entrance to our moobaan. Would bark, chase, and sometimes try to bite moto and bike riders entering and leaving the moobaan. I used a mixture of moist canned dog food and the rat poison that is disguised as rat-food. It sometimes is coated on rice or the one I used was like rat-kibble. It was blue in colour. Just mix a decent portion of the poison and the canned food together and place out somewhere where the dog will find it. I would put-it out at nite so that whoever owns the dog doesn't see you. The only trouble with this method as there may be collateral damage as well...nice feral cats specifically. I was lucky, I never saw that ###### dog again after the nite I put his "blue-plate" special out :o

Anti-freeze also works well...but do they even sell that stuff in Thailand :D Maybe available up north during the "cool" months. I wouldn't bother with the police...have heard that garbage men and others laborers will take care of problem dogs for anything from B100 on up.

Good luck...feral dogs, a real scourge of LOS.

To late... That extremely articulate fellow is in prison correct?

Think the blue plate special may work , I'd mix in some crushed paracetamol and heart medicine instead of rat poison as it is a bit of a slow death.

I would never give advice or condone the practice, read here!

Had disappointing results with rat poison which causes internal bleeding which should not be painful. It didn't work on a big dog! Fed him 30 Marcumar tablets as well and repeated the feeding for days... So you might consider increasing the dosage.

We've already had a similar such thread closed as I am fairly certain that poisoning someone's dog is illegal and discussion of illegal activities is against forum rules.
