Yellow Fever Vaccination?

Featured Replies

I'm reading that a yellow fever vaccination is required to complete the TDAC form. True?

If you are traveling to Thailand from a yellow fever country, then yes.

Proof of Yellow Fever vaccination (If traveling from a country with a Yellow Fever warning) is required.

I should have mentioned that I am 73 and the cut off for the yellow fever vaccine is 59. Sorry!

IF and only IF you're visiting from one of the countries on the list, this may help

https://nathnacyfzone.org.uk/factsheet/20/individuals-aged-60-years-and-older

notice the last paragraph which mentions exemptions

If you're NOT visiting from one of the countries on the list, the answer to your OP is FALSE

Surely you filed a TDAC prior to travel within the 72 hr window.

If you had filed a TDAC then, in my experience, the information will be available on the IO’s monitor and unlikely to be mentioned.

Not exactly sure all of what they see, probably no more than what’s on the form though I just put in where the last country of flight boarded on the tdac form even though the first flight was from the US, it should be asking for the origin of country traveled from as well…

Put in Angola, I reckon they'd be asking for yellow fever.

It was required when I was working there.

If you're coming from a yellow fever country you must go to the health booth, they'll ask to see your yellow fever book and give you a receipt that must be shown to imm officer when handing over passport.
