Looking for consul. Ground preperation for fill.

1 rai rice field, about 1.2 meters fill. Central thailand clay.

Would like small house with garden and fruit trees.

I remember reading about spreading a product before filling - helping to condition the fill???

After fill, plow rice "hull" into surface. ?.?

Planting "Ruzi" "cow grass" ? on side slope to help with erosion.

Ruzi grass as a help for soil erosion is not a lot of good; it is just an ordinary grass, does not like a lot of water or waterlogging which you could well have with your heavy soil.

What you need to help soil erosion is in Thai หญ้าแฝ,Faat Grass, not easy to find. You plant the stems, like a root stock. Thais know about it, ask around , Thai Facebook?

Why the concern about erosion, if flat ground. If flat, once filled to street level, it shouldn't be going anywhere. May need to shore up the perimeter of property, or at least what the house is sitting on.

1st house built was on land with slight slope, so backfilled, but just what the house sat on, as the rest was walled in anyway. Shored uder the house part with concrete & stone.

Might want to backfill and shore up the whole perimeter since rice land, depending if neighbor lots is all rice land also. 1.2 meters, that's going to get a bit pricey.

Might want to consider buying a ready to build lot, if an option.
