People can see that threats of violence against elected officials are dependent upon the Party. For example, storm the US Capitol, try to overturn democracy, and look for the Vice President in order to hang him ("Hang Mike Pence") gets you a pardon and possible massive "compensation".

Those lefties probably assume we'll have a Democrat in the White House come January 2029, so they also assume they will be pardoned and compensated for their actions.
