baboon
In my household whenever a patriotic song interupts the viewing, tuts and sighs abound, eyebrows raised and the channel is swiftly changed. The Thais I have questioned have told me this media is a waste of time especially for the youngsters who think it is a cheap way of massaging national sensetivities to maintain the status quo. [Or just think the song itself is crap.] So what about your household? Are there tears of joy, whooping and hollering, or a quiet indifference? Could you imagine anyone would have time for it in your home country?

baboon
When you WERE a kid. Of course not, but my life has been dedicated to Heavy Metal music. Great to see Thai youngsters on the same page as well!
