Thai Wife Vistiting France

Hi,

my wife lives in England and has permenant residency. If she was to visit France for a few days with some other Thai friends (who are all on the same visa) Does she (and they) need to apply for visa(s) prior to going?

Does not ILR allow a foreign national to travel and work anywhere in Europe ? I know my japanese ex wife can but that is probably because of her Japanese passport rather than marriage to me.

So what happens if I go to work in Germany ? Can my wife work there even though I am on a UK passport ?

A Thai citizen in UK on ILR needs to apply for a Visa to travel or work in Europe

If your wife is Thai (not Japanese) you can apply for an EU family permit for her if you are working in Germany.
