September 22, 200718 yr Hi everybody, I live in the states now and I have a habit of drinking lots of bottled Oishi tea (and also a prominent Taiwanese brand whose name escapes me). I always joke around with Thai people here and tell them that the naam in the tea is from the Chao Phraya river. They always laugh pretty good and tell me no, but in the back of my mind I wonder if I am poisoning myself. Can anyone suggest if I am indeed doing this? Thanks

Thanks If u r not troll, then it is very obvious that they r not going to make tea with such dirty water. What do u think about Thailand? If you goto some other countries like India, then you would know the meaning of dirty water.
September 22, 200718 yr Author Does anyone know what the water quality in Bkk is? This I guess is my real question. Thanks
September 22, 200718 yr Tap water is potable since a couple of years so I guess the water quality is ok unlike the pipes through which it flows. Better stick to beer for your water intake
September 23, 200718 yr Each bottle of Oichi contains 12 teaspoons of sugar. I'd worry more about that.
September 23, 200718 yr Haha. I add 3 more to it too take a look at anywhere you're buying tea ,you will see dozens 20 litre bottles of water stacked up ,thais dont use dirty water .
