Gary A Posted October 14, 2007 Share Posted October 14, 2007 I'm now retired and have been out of the machining business for a while. Depending on how big the pieces are a wire EDM may be cheaper and everybody and his brother has wire EDM machines. At that time, no one had laser cutting machines. For larger pieces there were a few flame cutters around but the machines were quite large, crude and not very precise.
