Non B To Wp

Hi....... a new guy has started at my workplace and had a 1 year multiple entry Non B which expired on the 3rd of Oct this yr, however he exited via Cambodia on the 2nd and was granted an additional 90 days entry stamp........... My workplace are in the process of sorting out his WP but have not been clear (i'm not sure they even know) if he has to get a new Non B from another country or whether it can be issued on the additional 90 days entry stamp or can be extended at immigration in Bangkok without leaving???

No problem on his current 90 day stamp.

Normally they should be able to obtain a work permit within this 90 days, after which they can apply on an extension based on employment, provided that the employing company fulfills certain requirements such as sufficient revenue in the last financial year etc...
