zamp
I have a friend who lives on samui, she works as a waitress in chaweng.Over the last few months she has been talking about having her nose done(she has a flat nose).Apparently Bandon hospital will do it for 9000 baht.I have told her many times she doesnt need it etc simply for the fact of the risk of something going wrong, although i do actually think she would benefit from the work.I have heard bandon is known as a bit of a butchery, am i right in trying to talk her out of it? DON'T let her do it. Nose jobs on Thais almost always look unnatural and repulsive. A nose job on a Thai just an announcement of stupidity. Flat noses look cute. I like 'em. GracelessFawn
Tell her to get bigger bobbies instead. No offense meant, but I don't see how a nose job can be useful. Maybe, you should tell her this.

goldfish
I presume you mean a silicon implant. Have spoken to 3 ladies in the last couple of months who have had it done, all paying about 15,000 baht and I think they all went to Bangkok. A simple operation which doesn't lose the character of the nose too badly and isn't noticeable by looking, but you can usually feel the ridge with a finger. Will be surprised if you can talk her out of it, it has more to do with social stigma of coming from a certain area of Thailand
cluezo
A nosejob is a painful, expensive and pointless ( )
Samuian
....besides it's "usefulness"... Bandon on Samui doesn't have a good reputation! If she really, really want it done, talk her into getting it from a SPECIALISTS CLINIC which does cater ONLY for cosmetic surgery and DOES HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION!
