December 11, 200718 yr Hi Greg (Sunbelt), Are you back on Samui ? I remember you wrote me (PM) that Samui does not fit your business for reasons that I will not mention here for privacy, so you closed. Did you change your mind or do you have any good reasons to re-open on this island ? I wondered that may be you want to share with us your opinion about your decision ? Cheers

December 11, 200718 yr Interesting question raised by the OP. A few years ago I emailed Sunbelt with a view to open a company to purchase some land on Koh Tao. The prompt and informative reply from Sunbelt was that all land in Koh Tao can not be bought or sold etc, so nothing came of it. Imagine my surprise when 6 or 12 months later Sunbelt had in fact opened their own office in Koh Tao thats only purpose was to display Koh Tao real estate listings, and facilitate the purchase and sale of them!
December 12, 200718 yr Author I think is interesting for all the people here in the forum understand the reason why Sunbelt discourage investments in a certain places and right after he open (or Re-Open) his own business right there. Everybody should think and take decision with his own brain, no doubts about, that's what I did despite Sunbelt comments and I'm very happy to be here now, otherwise following his suggestions I never ever move to Samui. I want to thanks in any case Sunbelt because he was always helpful and all the information's regarding Visa's are sharp and coming free of charge, about business and properties I personally think they should be more consistent. Hopefully this post will be read as a constructive one, for further improvements, believe me when I say that is not my intention to make it polemic. Regards

Regards You speak as though you know the reason for the U-turns by Sunbelt. If they are interesting and we should understand them then why not share your knowledge? Although I used a local agent after Sunbelt advised against carrying out my plans, Sunbelt were very helpful to take the time to reply promptly and thoroughly to my enquiry. I'd be happy to use them in the future should the need arise. To add to my above post, the office Sunbelt opened in Koh Tao closed after a few months. I wonder if this one will be reopening as well?
