moondancer
How much could a 2-bedroom unit (94 sqm) in the Athenee Residence be rented out for? I'm trying to calculate the net rental yield for potential investment. Thanks.
WongKarWai
about 50,000 imho, but who can judge the occupancy rate??
moondancer
Many thanks for the response. Any idea of the % bought for owner-occupation versus investment (rental) ? Market looks frothy from the asking prices for Athenee. Yield based on my calculation is likely to be approx 5% p.a. or less. Not a very attractive proposition. Hampstead
OMG where are the real estate agents scouring this forum saying to everyone that 10% returns on rent is the bkk norm well the op has one of the new kids on the block high end condos, and he is saying that his likely rental will be 5%, thats far lower than many expected the athenee to generate still 5% is better than a 0% return
