The show ip address function on TV is worthless

I just tried it.

It did return an ip address, not so sure if correct cause also said this was in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles.

How did it come up with this since the machine is in the North of LOS?

Any one else want to try it?

Seems to work for me, correctly shows my external IP address and locates me to Bangkok, close enough.

Not really sure what purpose it could serve apart from making sure that a proxy is actually working.

Works ok for me. I'm in the middle of the desert on a satellite link but my server is in Dhahran, Saudi and is pinpointed perfectly.

It shows me that you use TOT in Thailand.

Thats what i get also.

Hmm, I'm on TOT and it pinpointed my location to Brisbane, Australia, as opposed to Phuket!!

I get Brisbane too; but I stay in Pattaya (TOT). Would like to be in Brisbane thought.

I did try it and the outcome is exact the same as yours , and I am

also in the North ......

Sometimes IP address ranges is shifted between ISP's. I will ask the gurus to update the IP address database ASAP.
