A Little Help

Featured Replies

I'm a college student in the States taking an International Human Resource Management class. We've been given projects and the project my group has been assignment includes Thailand.

The scenario in this project is:

We are the Human Resource Company for an international soda/food company which is setting up in Thailand. We need to come up with a plan to relocate staff to Thailand and must address issues such as compensation, children's education, trips back home, and local labor laws.

I grew up abroad and have first hand experience as an expatriate in a developing country. But I would appreciate any help/insight from those who have had specific experiences with living in Thailand. Information such as cost of living, average expat compenstation, international schools (including fees), and any other issue involving expatriate living in Thailand would be helpful.

If you can help, please email me at [email protected]

Thanks in advance

If you take the time to search this web-site you will find many discussions on quality of education, costs of same, cost of living, cost of relocation, etc.

We ain't gonna do your thesis for you, but this site should be a good guide to the basics.
