roog
I'm a UK citizen living in Thailand. Been legally married for a month to a Thai lady and we have the Thai marriage certificate. Applying for a UK family visit visa for my wife - the family we hope to visit are her new in-laws. A couple of questions: Do I need to get the Thai marriage certificate translated and certified at the dept of consular affairs? I have the bio-page of the main host in the UK (my sister). For the other people we're visiting, do I also need their bio-pages? Have seen some comment that the answers to both questions might be yes, but nothing to confirm this from the ukvisa website. Thanks in advance.
the scouser
I'd just get a translation of your marriage certificate performed by a local bureau. By all means submit your family's passport details, but it's not required. Although you will be staying with family in the UK, it is you who is the sponsor and it is your passport details which will be required. Scouse.
