cclub75 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 That's the good point with the generals. They always swear that, of course, they won't stage a coup. I'm sure that Sonthi would have said the same in september 2006, just before the... coup.
Seneque Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 General Chavalit ruled out any devaluation of the baht .......
pete_r Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I'm sure that Sonthi would have said the same in september 2006, just before the... coup. He did! It was in July 2006 (from memory).
PeaceBlondie Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Army chief urges rival groups not to resort to violence Because institutionalized violence, you see, is the divine right of armies to do (or so it seems to those who read Scriptures inside out). And I might add that in a constitutional monarchy, coups are only done....no, I may not add that.
BigSnake Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Let's wait and see people do change there tone from timeto time.
